I have gotten some interesting messages so far from our CBS Evening News Segment Last night; some people who would like to join our carbon reduction efforts, and other people want to sell me some NEW! FANTASTIC! ENERGY SAVING DEVICES! THAT WILL REVOLUTIONIZE MY LIFE! Thanks to CBS for thinking that the story is worth airing, and for coming out to meet us. It was fun! Now poor Erin Kline will be known forever as the soccer mom who is trying to save the world, one kilowatt at a time. I think she'll be okay. She's the celebrity of her PTA now.
Carbonfund.org is also very happy we mentioned them last night- hey, no problem, they do great work. I also tried to plug TerraPass but I don't control what gets cut. Check out TerraPass, though; they have a new carbon calculator and it is AWESOME. I think Carbonfund.org got so many hits that their site went down. Tee hee!
I will get back to posting normally soon; I have a few cool posts that are logjammed at the moment.
It's good to see the issues of emissions reductions and energy savings getting play. Here it is: the video of our little Carbon Reduction Action group on CBS.
